Man this video worked perfectly for me. Followed it to the T and my 68 is purring like a kitten now. Returning new carburetor I never removed from the box.

I have an H30/31 carb that will not idle. I can make it idle by choking with my hand over the carb air intake. Is it possible it has the wrong main jet?

Same problem here. I gave up man lol. I asked how other people did it on their rubicons through the forums and some said to stick a little screwdriver in the hole to push the wire up and get the bolt over the rivnut. I'll try again tomorrow. 😅

I took those bolts out and still haven't been about to get the washer and bolt past the faster that t45 bolt goes into. spent 30 minutes jiggling and gave up. have to try again later. any other tricks I should know about to get it past?

Just an FYI. ALLMOPARPARTS.COM did reach out to me and requested pictures of the packaging and any damage. Even though I had cleaned up the damage a bit, I sent pics for them to see the poor packaging or lack of packaging.

I wired as per the picture: 30 to Battery+, 86 to body/chassis as ground, 85 thick red wire from switch, and 87 to starter/thick red wire. But the moment I tried to connect battery's negative post with ground wire... i saw sparks out of that post and car attempted to start. No keys in ignition. I wonder what i did wrong

Love your channel, but you could do one thing to improve it.. You could turn your music down.. I noticed you back it down when speaking, but I think most people would rather not have any..
